jep, für LPG hat Daimler spezielle Öle entwickelt, die Anforderungen sind bei MB226.9 gesammelt.

moin, ich klinke mich Mal rein.
Die Tabelle verstehe ich nicht, welchen Zusammenhang hat ACEA C3 mit LPG? Oder ist das nur Mercedes Spezifisch? -
In der Tabelle sind die Begrenzungen vorhanden:
SA <= 1
HTHS >= 3,5
PP <= -27Welche Spezifikation für europäische Fahrzeuge passt dafür?
Rein von der Parametrisierung - ACEA C3.
Z.B. GM Dexos1 passt bei SA, bei HTHS ist aber hinfällig...
Aber: die LPG Öle sind nicht in den Benzin oder Diesel Motoren zu verwenden.Diese Logik ist auch bei den MAN (М3271) und Renault (RGD)...

achso, meine Recherche hat ergeben das LPG Öle Mid bis Low saps Öle sein müssen wegen den fehlenden Reinigungskraft von LPG.
Wie groß ist diese Gefahr in Realität? Sind ISLAC GF-5 Öle Mid saps? -
bei ILSAC gibt es keine Begrenzung für SA, sonst es soll Phosphor <= 800 ppm sein, also ZDDP Level entspricht midSAPS.

Habe ich einen Thread mit neuen Erkenntnissen verpasst, oder wieso wird bei LPG auf MidSAPS verwiesen? Ich habe bisher nie etwas gelesen/gehört, dass es beim LPG/CNG Betrieb irgendetwas ausmachen würde, FullSAPS zu fahren.

Wegen fehlendem "Wascheffekt" durch Benzin
ist ein Risiko der Verkokung höher.
Daher ist ein mid- oder lowSAPS zu empfehlen.Generell ist aber auch wichtig ein temperaturstabiles Öl zu verwenden
und die Wechselintervalle zu reduzieren um Ablagerungen zu vermeiden! -
TBN ist bei C3 Ölen erwartungsgemäß deutlich geringer.
Im schlimmsten Fall fast die Hälfte von fullSAPS.Sehe ich gerade im Gasbetrieb als nachteilig!

Huch, wird jetzt doch Mid oder Low-SAPS empfohlen bei LPG? Mir wurde ja zu Full-SAPS geraten.
Was ich jetzt etwas komisch finde, bei LPG wird wegen der fehlenden Reinigungskraft auf Mid oder Low verwiesen, was machen dann bitte Direkteinspritzer???

Beinzineintrag wirkt verdickend, seit wann denn das? -
Beim Motor mit LPG sehen die Einlassventile wenigstens ab und zu Sprit, im Gegenstz zu reinen Direkteinspritzern.

Ich melde mich noch einmal zu Wort.
Habe heute mit bekanntem hiesigen Gas-Umrüster gesprochen und sein Öllager besichtigt.
Dieser ist gleichzeitig auch schon immer eine Peugeot-Vertragswerkstatt.Früher zu fullSAPS-Zeiten hat er nur diese eingefüllt,
spezielle Gas-Öle gab es noch nicht und die ascherarmen waren noch Exoten...Heute hat sich das Autohaus aus rein logistischen Gründen nur auf mid/lowSAPS-Öle spezialisiert.
Und zwar nur auf zwei Sorten:
- multi Allzwecköl 5w30 (lowSAPS C3, MB229.51, vw504/507...)
- spezielles Gas Öl 5w40 (midSAPS C3)Kunden werden dort bezüglich Öl beraten.
Falls zulässig, wird 5w40 eingefüllt, ansonsten halt 5w30Bezüglich Vor- und Nachteilen von full- zu mid/lowSAPS Ölen bei Gasbetrieb mochte sich der Meister gar nicht äußern wollen.
Nach dem Motto: "... würde ich für jedes Auto das besste Öl auf Lager halten, würde ich damit bankrott gehen..."Ergo: es wird heutzutage, wie so oft, rein aus logistischen und wirtschaftlichen Gründen zu bestimmten Ölen gegriffen

Das ist ja gang und gebe in den Werkstätten, siehe auch bei BMW das tolle 5w-30 LL04 für Benziner.
Erklärt aber nicht warum es spezielle Gas Öle gibt oder ob diese einen Sinn machen.

Zum Thema LPG brennt angeblich heißer würde ich gern einen Blog auf Motor Talk als Lesestoff empfehlen.

Einige Halbwahrheiten werden damit gut aufgeklärt, finde ich.Das kannst Du gerne hier verlinken oder den Text zitieren.
