Ich finde leider kein aktuelles Datenblatt. Vom Signature Series 5W50 ist ja bereits bekannt, dass es die API SP erfüllt. Gilt das auch fürs Signature Series 0W40?

Ich denke, dass das 0/40 entsprechend funktioniert... (siehe FÖA mit geringerem Kalziumgehalt) - offizielle SP Freigabe glaub ich noch nicht.

Kreity es erfüllt API SN PLUS , was inhaltlich identisch ist wie SP.

Ich frage mich, warum es kein ACEA-Zertifikat hat. Meine Vermutung ist, dass Amsoil ihr Flaggschiffprodukt lieber auf Höchstleistung halten wollte, anstatt weitere Zertifizierungen oder Genehmigungen zu erlangen, die manchmal die Leistung beeinträchtigen, um die Emissionsstandards einzuhalten. Ich weiß, dass sie auch eine europäische Version haben, aber diese Version hat nicht einmal API SP. Kennt jemand den SAPS-Gehalt?! Basierend auf den Tests der älteren Version (2018) war es meiner Meinung nach etwas zwischen Normal- und Hoch-SAPS, oder? Wie sieht es mit der neuesten Version aus?

LSPI Schutz ist doch vorhanden , zumindest mit den "Freigaben".
0W-40 (AZF): API SP, SN PLUS, SN…; Chrysler MS-12633, MS-10725, MS-10850;
Nissan GT-R; GM dexos R
Da Amsoil ein US Hersteller ist ist das Thema mit Freigaben auch anders geregelt. Das ist lediglich bei Herstellern in Europa ein Thema.
TBN ist sehr hoch mit 12.5 schon auf LKW Niveau, klar ist das dann auch immer SA mit steigt vermutlich um die 1.1 wenn ich raten müsste.

Schon vor über einem Jahr wurde von ATO24 mitgeteilt, dass auch dieses Amsoil Signature Series den LSPI Schutz durch die passende API Norm hat.
Generell haben wir mit den diversen Signatur Series Ölen gute Erfahrungen gemacht, ich fahre es zur Zeit mit anderer Viskosität in einem Subaru.

Für meinen Honda Civic ist die einzige Voraussetzung für Motoröl, dass es entweder ACEA A1/B1, A3/B3 oder A5/B5 und API SL oder höher ist, mit einem Bereich von 0W, 5W oder sogar 10W zusammen mit 20, 30 und 40 für die Viskosität. Daher spielt es keine Rolle, ob dieses Motoröl ein Full-, Mid- oder Low-SAPS ist, solange es von guter Qualität ist, kann ich es in meinem Auto verwenden, richtig?! Ich weiß, dass es wahrscheinlich übertrieben ist. Da der Vorbesitzer immer Würth Motoröl verwendet hat, möchte ich nur sicherstellen, dass der Motor auch in Zukunft gesund bleibt.

Mach für deinen Honda am besten eine eigene Ölberatung auf, vielleicht gibt es noch weiter gute Ideen und Tipps.

Sie haben recht, ich hätte das Auto hier nicht erwähnen sollen. Ich interessiere mich für die Zusammenhänge zwischen Ölspezifikationen und Zulassungen. Manchmal ist das Öl in Spezifikation und Labortest perfekt, aber die Leute meiden es, nur weil eine Zulassung fehlt. Um die hypothetische ACEA-Zulassung dieses Amsoil-Produkts zu erraten, fehlt nur die Angabe des SAPS-Gehalts, was mich neugierig gemacht hat.
