Unten auf dem Kanister muss ein Produktionsdatum eingeprägt sein. Die Abfüllung kann nicht älter als dieses Datum sein.

Das Produktionsdatum auf den Ölkanistern ist April 2019. Also ist das Öl auch super frisch.

Ob dem Motor das Öl wohl genau so schmeckt wie mir das Bier?

Richtig klasse wäre es ja, wenn das 5W-40 das gleiche Additiv-Paket wie das 10W-40 enthält, und der Unterschied nur in der Basisöl-Dicke liegt.
Bin schon mächtig gespannt.
Der Eisfach-Test ist auch sehr interessant. Es dürfte keinerlei Anzeichen einer Trübung aufweisen, und sich für ein 5W verhältnismäßig dünn zeigen: Beitrag #17 - zweites Video + Beitrag #75 + Beitrag #80

So geil ich das Öl auch finde aber ist das wirklich was für meinen Kurzstreckenbomber?
Ich meine,weil das so überkandüdelt ist.
Könnte das nicht zu vermehrten Ablagerungen führen im Motor,wenn der oftmals nur 3 km fährt und nur ein paar Mal im Jahr für länger auf der Autobahn ist oder ist das Unbegründet? -
Ich denke, dass das unbegründet ist. Auch das 5W-40 wird viel Polyolester haben, was eher eine reinigende Wirkungen haben wird. In
kürzeren Intervallen wird es sogar Vorteile haben. Bei einem solchen Fahrprofil würde ich vielleicht eher öfter wechseln und vielleicht ein günstigeres
Öl fahren. Das ROWE Synth RS 5W-40 ist ja ein super Öl.
Wenn ich aber ehrlich bin, dann fülle ich auch das Gulf Competition 10W-40 in mein Kurzstrecken- und Winterbomber. Weil er ruhiger läuft und
mir die paar Kröten egal sind.Aston Martin steht nur auf meinen 15W-50 Kanistern...

@BMWE36 in welchem Sinne reinigende Wirkung? Was überhaupt nicht reinigt ist das Grundöl, es liegt ausschließlich am Additiv-Paket bzw. "Detergentien". Fakt ist, Ester sind polar, dies bedeutet, dass sie sehr gut dispergieren, beispielsweise Verunreinigungen etc. Das ist einfach ein sehr gutes Lösungsmittel, deshalb bleiben die Motoren ziemlich sauber. Ebenfalls mit OSP.

Ich selbst brauche kein "Winteröl", da ich auch meine Garage per Fußbodenheizung ganzjährig bei ca. 20°C halte.
Ich fahre daher auch 10W-40 im Winter. Ich habe aber ein paar Straßenparker E36 im Bekanntenkreis, denen ich gerne das Gulf 5W-40 einfüllen würde, wenn KV100 im ordentlichen Bereich ist... -

Ach so ok. Parke leider auch nur an der Straße, hab mich aber trotzdem für ein 10W entschieden. ne beheizte Garage ist schon ein Traum
