Ich bin tatsächlich am Kauf von RUP interessiert und würde gern wissen ob ich auch bekomme was Ravenol verspricht
ein 5w40 ohne VIV. -

Denn von einigen Ravenol-Ölen ist es bekannt.Im Falle von RUP weiß ich es genau so wenig wie ihr,
daher nur als ein Gedankenanstoß gemeint... -

Wenn ich irgendwann voll die Faxen dicke habe bestell Ich das Rowe Synth RS oder bleibe beim Ravenol VST

es gibt die Aussage von Ravenol zu einigen seiner neuen Öle diese seien VIV frei.
Es gibt Quellen die die Möglichkeit aufzeigen unter Verwendung von mPAO ist auf VIV zu verzichten.
Wie weit das möglich ist also auch 5w40 oder sogar 0w50....???

Ich halte es nicht für unwahrscheinlich das mPAO haltige VIV frei Öle einen so stark vom Viskositätsverlauf VIV haltiger Öle abweichenden VI-Verlauf aufweisen das dieser zu Irritationen bei deren VI einstufungen verursacht. -

Das wär schade vor allem wenn sich rausstellte die Ravenol Angaben haben ihre Richtigkeit. -

Also das RCS wäre schon mein Favorit und es reizt mich schon sehr.
Aber an den Angaben von Ravenol muss ja schon was dran sein - alles andere wäre ja „ Betrug oder Täuschung „ am Kunden und das können die sich sicher nicht erlauben

Auf das RCS schiele ich auch für mein GTI, aber erst fürs nächste Jahr, als Sommeröl.
Im Winter jetzt eher Synth RS 0W40, SSL 0W40 oder eventuell auch VST 5W40.. -
Ich würde das RCS auch im Winter fahren. Ich denke es wird ja bei dem Winter hier im Ruhrgebiet nicht all zu viel aus machen was die Durchölung u Kaltstartverschleiß anbelangt.
Möchte ungern im Winter ein Öl mit komplett anderer Additivierung fahren weil dann ja immer ein gutteil noch vom anderen Öl im Motor ist beim wechsel. Möchte auch irgendwann mal " sortenrein " sein

Das ist witzig, bei mir auch....
Eigentlich kam ich nur hier hin um einen Nachfolger für das Mobil 1 New Life zu finden, jetzt weiss ich nicht mal mehr was ich nehmen soll.
Aber Ravenol hat es mir mächtig angetan.
Ob nun VST / RUP oder RCS... das die Frage. Das RUP hat ja wenigstens noch die VW Freigabe -
VST hat auch Freigaben.

Aber das RCS find ich irgendwie am ansprechendsten.. ja VST ist ebenfalls freigegeben. Da es ein RUP thread ist hatte ich das geschrieben

Am besten finde Ich das RCS dann RUP und dann VST obwohl das VST in der aktuellen variante super genial ist

Das RUP sehe ich eher in einem Diesel aufgrund der niedrigen SA.
