Marketing, Augenwischerei. Vielleicht wegen des Wolframes wirds ein bisschen benzin sparen aber kaum messbar
ja Benzin sparen ist oft Marketing und meiner Meinung nach bestimmt kaum messbar, aber warum schreibt man dann abgesenkter HTHS-Wert hin? Jeder der sich ein bisschen mit Motorölen auskennt würde ohne das Datenblatt, den abgesenkten HTHS-Wert als Ausschlusskriterium bei der Wahl des Öles sehen. Meiner Meinung nach eher Kontraproduktiv dies in die Beschreibung zu schreiben. Aber gut....
Noch eine Frage. Dieses Öl erwäge ich beim nächsten Ölwechsel (ist noch lange hin bis zum Wechsel da gerade vor kurzem stattgefunden) in meinen Swift Sport zu kippen... Ist ja als Rennöl ausgewiesen, ist es auch allgemein ohne Nachteile zu normalen Ölen in einem alltäglichen PKW zu empfehlen?

Wie du selbst schon geschrieben hast...."Marketing". Wenn es kein normales Öl wäre hätte es bestimmt keine MB-Freigaben.

Macht es eigentlich Sinn, solch ein Öl in einem Fahrzeug einzusetzen, welches im Grunde kaum getreten wird und sich primär im Stadtverkehr aufhält? Sowohl vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis her als auch von etwaigen Nachteilen die entstehen könnten.
Welche Nachteile ziehst du da in Erwägung?

Stadtverkehr ist für einen Motor nicht die optimalste Bedingung. Wer will denn schon sein Auto "treten", Leistung abfordern innerhalb der gesetzten Rahmenbedingungen sicherlich.
das treten bezieht sich auf die Tatsache, dass das Öl als Racing Öl beworben wird. Im Straßenverkehr natürlich nur wenn auf ner Autobahn ohne Beschränkung freie Bahn ist :P.
Nachteile könnten evtl fehlende i Additve sein die sonst in „Standard“ Ölen enthalten sein könnten.
Meine Frage kommt daher, dass ich mir einbilde, dass ein Öl für Rennsporteinsatz eher kurz im Motor bleibt...im Gegensatz zu „Standard“ Motoröl
