Es hat mich jetzt doch gebitzelt und ich habe es reingekippt. Ich hatte noch 2 Flaschen, wobei 1 schon geöffnet war, ein Rest von ca. 280mL, was ca. 6.6% Polytron MTC in 4.2L Ravenol 0W-20 Öl entspricht. Das bleibt jetzt ca. 500km drin bis zum nächsten Ölwechsel. So viel muss bei dem neuen Motor ja nicht gereinigt werden. Hat erst 29'000km gelaufen und das Öl habe ich ca. << 10'000km gewechselt.

Mit der anderen Flasche werde ich eine Ölanalyse durchführen lassen. Mal sehen, was da rauskommt. Der Rest kommt dann in den Motor.

Möchte sich jemand an der Analyse beteiligen?

Ich benötige nun noch knapp 2000km und kann eine Analyse vorzeigen. Dabei handelt es sich um Castrol 5w30 LL mit Polytron im Diesel EA189.

Ich gehe allerdings abweichend der Empfehlung von Polytron vor.

Erstmals habe ich 50ml auf 5L Öl angewendet. Nachdem ich diese Analyse ausgewertet habe füge ich ca 5% hinzu.

Ich bin gespannt

Eine GÖA vom Ravenol mit MTC lasse ich auch machen. Wird dann Anfang September vorliegen.

Sorry for the late response. Do not get these updates in the mail.

It is not that important to low or high saps oil. It will not matter at all.

Use it in 5-10%. That will do the job! The additive in oil use the oil as an transport medium to the wear parts. Thats it actually. The viscosity of the oil can change a litte but it will stay in the safe zone.

And if the wear parts are treated even a lower viscosity will not harm. We see this also with 75W140 gearbox oil what is changed into a 75W90 with stock cars.

In the meantime i got some other additive from neo-protec, and ceramo ester and tested this on the lubricity tester in pure additive this compaired to Polytron MTC. Quit interesting test…..😉

It's good that you mentioned the other additive manufacturers - because I wanted to ask how your additive compares to Archoil AR9100. Can you also include the AR9100 in your comparison test or is it already too late?

Till now i did not test this product. I have to see if i can have some of this product. The lubricity tester gives ofcourse a indicative test what a lubricant can do under pressure. Practice has to show the results.

I will see if i can make some videos. I do not speak bad about other additive’s on the market, because they have also there reasons for selling it. And other products can also have good results.

But what i have seen through the years is that almost every additive’s work with solid particles.

Polytron MTC is completely without these solid particles and works different.

The lubricity tester in this case will give a impression and at the end people may make there own decisions about it….😃

I’ve read your previous attached PDF file and from page 7-12 the results (SHU 5w40 without + with Polytron) are quite interesting. You're right - practical relevance is what counts and so far, AR9100 is state of the art for me. At least until now...

What i have read a while ago about this product is that it also contains nano particles. But i have to read more and test it….

Die Analyse ist da. Die waren wohl etwas "überfordert" mit der Probe und konnten zuerst nichts damit anfangen. Sie haben am Dienstag nachgefragt, was das sei und ob ich Infos/Spezifikationen darüber hätte. Ich habe ein paar Links geschickt und dann war erst heute das Ergebnis da.
