Lots of issues with this type of gearbox before. F18 from Opel.
The cardan and satellite wheels were always a problem of premature wear. Currently no more issues. This with the use off polytron MTC

From this 250cc engine the cilinder had 300 hours, the piston 150 hours. This engine is used with Polytron MTC. Oil change every 3 race’s.
Costumer state’s that this is much more than without the use of Polytron MTC

Polytron fc can be used for every kind of fuel. Petrol, diesel, 2 stroke, marine fuels, kerosene.
Nach der 2Takt Öl und Archoil Welle, sehe ich jetzt erst Polytron...
Wenn meine Rechnung stimmt, dann liegen die Mehrkosten in Bezug auf Diesel/ Benzin bei ca. 2-3 %. Ob das durch (für uns) nachvollziehbar geringeren Verbrauch kompensiert wird, da bin ich nicht sicher. Im jetzt fast langjährigen Schnitt schwankt dieser bei mir (berechnet nach tatsächlichem Verbrauch an der Tankstelle) um bis zu 0,5 l/100km, was ca. 7-8 % ausmacht.
Ob der Motor leiser wird, müsste sich da einfacher messen lassen. Beim 2T-Öl hatte ich immerhin (laienhafte) -1db gemessen.Aber versuchen kann man das Polytron sicher mal
Eine Frage habe ich auf deren web-Auftritt nicht beantwortet gesehen: Wie lange hält sich das im Gebinde, also ist die Chemie langzeitstabil? (Ich habe immer noch 1,5 von 5 l 2T-Öl, welches schon ein paar Jährchen steht ).
PS.: Was mir etwas negativ bei Polytron auffällt, ist das Ölwechselintervall bei deren Ölen von 50tkm. Das scheint mir etwas unseriös, ist auch sicherlich den Marketinggegebenheiten angepasst. Entsprechend vorsichtig sollte man sicher auch bei den Aussagen zu den Kraftstoffzusätzen sein.
Polytron FC last long according a statement of the manufacture.
They had some FC from 2005 and they noticed no side effects even after 15 years. Only the product becomes a little darker.
The mixture advise is to use 1ml FC : 1L fuel
You may eventually also go to 0,5ml FC : 1L fuel
So it save’s also in the cost of Polytron FC

You testet pure Neo-Protec? Why, it is a additive and non standalone product?
Agree, but if gives a impression of what a product will do under pressure. A lubricity tester gives a indication result.
What I understood is that with the 4ball wear test the results according neo protec where better than before.

With the 4ball wear test the pressure is directly available.
But at the other hand, fieldtests should show the difference.
Doesn't make sense for me neither. Would also expect to have it in oil disolved tested. Thanks anyway.

I have gotten a sample of pure neo-protec. A amount of 40ml.
Putting 9ml into the oil cub on the machine with light loads it “failed” quite fast. This was pure neo-protec.

If an engine is “clean” you always may use polytron mtc directly into the engine.
It has to do with the fact that within an dirty engine (bad maintenance) high mileage, to long before an oil change, the contamination could cause issues.
We never had that issue, but we prescribe what the manufacturer says.

What i have read a while ago about this product is that it also contains nano particles. But i have to read more and test it….

It's good that you mentioned the other additive manufacturers - because I wanted to ask how your additive compares to Archoil AR9100. Can you also include the AR9100 in your comparison test or is it already too late?
Till now i did not test this product. I have to see if i can have some of this product. The lubricity tester gives ofcourse a indicative test what a lubricant can do under pressure. Practice has to show the results.
I will see if i can make some videos. I do not speak bad about other additive’s on the market, because they have also there reasons for selling it. And other products can also have good results.
But what i have seen through the years is that almost every additive’s work with solid particles.
Polytron MTC is completely without these solid particles and works different.
The lubricity tester in this case will give a impression and at the end people may make there own decisions about it….😃

Gab es dazu eine Antwort? Ich glaube keine definitive. Ich bin wieder hin und hergerissen, ob ich es jetzt in meinen GR Yaris zugeben möchte (zum Ravenol 0W-20 DFE). Ich stehe kurz vor dem nächsten Service. Ich habe einen OPF.

It is not that important to low or high saps oil. It will not matter at all.
Use it in 5-10%. That will do the job! The additive in oil use the oil as an transport medium to the wear parts. Thats it actually. The viscosity of the oil can change a litte but it will stay in the safe zone.
And if the wear parts are treated even a lower viscosity will not harm. We see this also with 75W140 gearbox oil what is changed into a 75W90 with stock cars.
In the meantime i got some other additive from neo-protec, and ceramo ester and tested this on the lubricity tester in pure additive this compaired to Polytron MTC. Quit interesting test…..😉

Gibt es denn jetzt noch Neuigkeiten, was das Polytron im Motor oder Getriebe betrifft? Lohnt sich das?
We have a costumer here in the Netherlands who uses it now for his F1 cars. They faced issues with premature wear in the valve train. They use a Motul ester oil. There was also a lot of smoke inside becuase of the heat. Now with MTC no smoke and polished surfaces what the told us.

Polytron International kann man mit dem Verhältnis auch auf 1:800 hochgehen?
Was sind die Grenzen? Kann man mit dem FC auf den Einsatz von B98 oder B100 verzichten?
