Nun sehen wir hier das solche Öle keinesfalls schlecht für den Motor sein müssen und es nicht notwendig ist, bei jedem Modell eine höhere Viskosität zu fahren.
Paar Informationen zum Fahrprofil wären noch ganz nett gewesen. -
Man sollte beachten, dass es sich um einen Honda handelt, und die japanischen Motoren sind da schon sehr auf diese dünnen Öle ausgelegt.
Dies auf andere Motoren zu übertragen, wäre nicht zielführend.Zudem sind die 6% Ceratec mit einzubeziehen.
Das hexagonale Bornitrid ist nicht umsonst ein hochtemperaturbeständiger Festschmierstoff der in der Industrie eingesetzt wird.Ihr solltet übrigens die 17.000 Km nicht als Motorlaufleistung betrachten.
Das Fahrzeug ist ein Hybrid und der Motor kann je nach Fahrprofil nur selten zum Einsatz kommen.Insgesamt aber eine gute Analyse, jedoch mit offenen Fragen.

Nein das kann man auch nicht pauschalisieren, aber es ist ein Bespiel dafür das diese Öle prinzipiell nicht schlecht sind.
Hast du denn ein Beispiel dafür, das sich europäische Autos mit solchen Ölen weniger gut vertragen? -

Kleine Korrektur:
Mir wurde gerade mitgeteilt, dass der Honda Insight 1.3 ein sogenannter Mild-Hybrid ist, und der Verbrennungsmotor vom Start bis zum Stop durch läuft.
Also sind die 17.000 Km komplett der Motorlaufleistung zuzuordnen.Somit war meine vorige Aussage fehlerhaft.

Schon beeindruckend! Bei der Laufleistung mit dem dünnen Öl derartige Verschleisswerte zu erreichen!
Davon abgesehen finde ich das Vorhaben von @Imehner nicht unbedingt empfehlenswert!Laut Wartungsintervallanzeige ist ein Ölwechsel erst in 10.000 km / 160 Tagen erforderlich.
Also, so lange bleibt es auch noch drin.(mit Hervorhebung)

Man(n) hat ja immer bedenken bei Recyclingölen oder Zweitraffianten, wie immer man diese Sorte auch nennen mag, hinsichtlich der Qualität.
Um so beeindruckender diese Ölanlyse! -
Die Pennasol-Schmierstoffe halte ich nach Ablauf der Fahrzeuggarantie - gerade auch für preis- und qualitätsbewusste Käufer - durchaus für empfehlenswert!
Viele sind wahrscheinlich zunächst etwas misstrauisch, weil die meisten Öle wenige bis keine Freigaben besitzen. Wie wir ja hier mittlerweile wissen, muss und sollte das nicht das KO-Kriterium sein:- Freigaben sind vermeintlich für viele -insbesondere kleinere Ölproduzenten- eine finanzielle Hürde (viele Öle würden sicherlich locker anspruchsvollere Freigaben wie 229.5 oder Longlife 04 "packen....)
- die dabei eingesparten Mittel werden stattdessen in die Produktentwicklung, hochwertige Additive und Verfahrenstechniken "gesteckt" (Vermutung von mir)

Und Firmen wie Pennasol geben weniger Geld für Werbung aus.
Ja, ich teile deine Meinung, für sparsame Autofahrer mit älteren Autos eine (DIE?) super Empfehlung. Aber sicher auch für andere. -
Für ein Zweitraffinat ist das Penasol 0W20 zu teuer, verglichen mit Addinol 0W20.

Wie schlägt sich das Addinol im Vergleich?
Die Leistung des Pennasol ist so gut, dass ich da nicht auf den letzten Cent schauen würde. -
Wer sagt denn, dass Zweitraffinate schlecht sind?
Außerdem ist der 5l-Kanister vom Pennasol immer noch ca. 10 EUR günstiger als der vom Addinol -
Dort wo ich einkaufe kosten 5l Pennasol 19€ und Addinol 27€ incl. Versand, außerdem ist Addinol ILSAC GF 5 zertifiziert und daher füt Toyotas während der Garantie risikolos verwendbar und zuguterletzt ist Pennasol eben ein Zweitrafinat und nicht als solches deklariert.
