iron a bit high - could be from the gearbox or clutch basket etc. in addtion to the cylinder liners.

Das 10W-40 wird zu Ende der Laufzeit hin zu dünn. Es wird zu 5W-30. 15W-50 hat hier mehr Reserven. Es wird zu 10W-40. Größerer Fe-Verschleiß ist hier nicht zu erwarten, ganz im Gegenteil.
going with the silkolene which is pretty thick and having it analyzed is the way to go if you don't want to switch directly to a 15W50.
In the end 15W50 seems the way to go with this engine - but we'll see after the next analysis.
