Mit Empfehlungen von Koenigsegg und Bugatti
Der britische Motoröl- und Schmierstoffhersteller Castrol bringt ein neues Öl auf den Markt, das speziell für Sportautos mit hohen Anforderungen und Motorleistungen konzipiert ist. Das „Edge Supercar“ soll Motorablagerungen reduzieren und Schutz für verschiedene Betriebsbedingungen und Temperaturen bieten.
Laut Hersteller erfüllt das Öl der Viskosität 10W-60 die Branchenstandards ACEA A3/B3, A3/B3 sowie API SN/CF und VW 501 01/505 00.Zugelassen ist das Öl sowohl für BMW-M-Modelle als auch für Koenigsegg-Motoren. Castrol zufolge ist es ebenfalls geeignet für die Modelle Aston Martin V8 Vantage S, Audi R8 V10 GT, Bugatti Chiron, Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta und Ferrari FF.
Auch Castrols jüngstes Produkt verfügt über die „Titanium FST“: Bei diesem sind dem Öl Titanpolymere hinzugefügt.
