Im Fernsehen sieht Essen immer viel besser aus als in der Realität. Um die Gerichte perfekt in Szene zu setzen, hat die Werbeindustrie einige Tricks entwickelt.
Du kennst das: In der Werbung sieht ein Burger oft aus, als wäre er von Gott zubereitet worden. Das Fleisch wurde tagelang zärtlich massiert, die Salatblätter stammen aus den Gärten von Schloss Versailles und jeder einzelne Tropfen Sauce erinnert an flüssiges Gold. Dein Magen knurrt, also gehst du zur Fast-Food-Kette deines Vertrauens. Dort stellst du aber fest, dass der in der Werbung gezeigte Burger so viel mit der Realität zu tun hat wie ein Kardashian-Selfie.
Es gibt Menschen, die ihr Geld damit verdienen, Essen in der Werbung möglichst sexy aussehen zu lassen. Die Food-Stylisten verbringen Stunden damit, Gerichte so zu präparieren, dass uns auf der Couch das Wasser im Mund zusammenläuft. Dafür gibt es unzählige Tricks: Wusstest du etwa, dass für den Ahornsirup auf Pancakes häufig Motorenöl verwendet wird? Oder dass die Milch in deinem Müsli eigentlich aus Leim besteht? Oh und damit der Burger so schön raucht, brauchst du vor allem eins: Tampons. Ja, dein ganzes Leben ist eine Lüge.
